Description

For the head pattern, I used the ideal sphere pattern found here: mspremiseconclusion.files.word…
I altered it to be more head shaped. The rest of the pattern I made up myself.

Place st marker in 8th stitch in middle, leave middle stitch unworked

Legs x 2

In yellow
Starting first from where your yarn is, sc in only one loop. You'll put a sc in every loop of the first seven stitches, going around like you would for the beginning of an oval pattern. Stuff leg as you go.
1.)1 sc in each loop around (14)
2.-4.)1 sc in each
5.) inc then 6, repeat once  (16)
6.-9.)1 sc in each
10.) 1 sc then inc, 6 sc then inc, 7sc (18)
11.-22.) 1 sc in each
Stuff as much as you want before you close the knee in next step.
23.) fold in half then close by sc across (9 sts)
24.) Just like the beginning of the leg, sc in each loop around (18)
25.-27.)1 sc in each
28.-35.) change to red, 1 sc in each
Fasten off. Stuff the calf of the leg

For the second leg, attach your yellow yarn at the hip and repeat the steps for leg above. The middle stitch between the legs should remain unworked.

Feet x 2

In red
ch 7
1.) sc around in each loop, sl st into first st after making it around (12)
2.) 1 sc then inc, repeat (18)
3.) 2 sc then inc, repeat (24)
4.) 3 sc then inc (30)
5.) 9 sc, inc, inc, then 3 sc in next st, inc, inc, then 1 sc in rest of row (36)
6.) 1 sc in each
7.) 5 sc then (dec, 1 sc) x 6, then 1 sc in rest of row (30)

9.) 5 sc then (dec, 1 sc) x 3, then 1 sc in rest of row (21)
10.) 5 sc then (dec) x 3, then 1 sc in rest of row (18)
11.) 1 sc in each
Fasten off. Leave a tail three times as long as the circumference of the foot opening. Stuff foot.

Sew the foot to the ankle of the leg. Align it so that the toe part of foot is in front of doll. The back of the doll should be where the ugly jogs from the color changes are.

Arm x 2

In yellow
ch 8, leaving long tail at beginning of this ch for sewing later
1.) sc across (7)
2.) sc in each loop around (14)
3.-16.)1 sc in each
Stuff arm before you close the elbow
17.) fold in half, then close by sc across  (7)
18.) sc in each loop around around (14)
19.-21.) 1 sc in each
22.-26.) change to red, 1 sc in each
27.) dec then 5 sc, dec, then 1 sc in rest of row. (12)
28.) 1 in each
Fasten off. Stuff the arm.

Sew arms to body placing the flat edges of the shoulders at the sides of the body. Sew only along the flat line of the shoulder to allow the arm to swing freely.

Hand x 2

In red
1.) 6 sts in magic ring (6)
2.) 2 sc in each (12)
3.)1 sc then inc, repeat (18)
4,) 2 sc then inc, repeat (24)
5.-8.) 1 sc in each
9.) 2 sc then dec (18)
10.) 1 sc then  dec (12)
Fasten off. Leave tail three times as long as circumference of the hand opening. Stuff hand.

Sewing the hand to the wrist of the arm. No need to align is perfectly since the hand is just a sphere.

Chest stripe
ch 3
1.-7.)1 sc in each
Use gray yarn to embroider a straight line in middle of chest stripe for the zipper. Leave a little loop at top if you like to make it look like the zipper tag. I used hot glue oon back to secure the gray yarn, then hot glued the chest stripe to Saitama's chest.

Belt buckle
In gold yarn. I used some really thin fashion yarn. My hook was also smaller as a result. If your yarn is the same size as the yarn you used for the rest of the doll, keep using the same hook. You may need more or less rows to make your circle the right size for your belt buckle, depending on what yarn you use.
1.) 6 sts in magic ring (6)
2.) 2 sc in each (12)
3.) 1 sc then inc, repeat (18)
Fasten off. Sew or hot glue to body.

Ears x 2
1.) 6 sts in magic ring. Pull magic ring tight, but do not join you last stitch to first stitch. Ch 1 and turn instead
2.) 1 sc then inc, repeat. ch 1 and turn at end
3.) 2 sc then inc, repeat. ch 1 and turn at end

Cape
Use a hook that is two sizes bigger than the one you used for rest of doll. I used an E hook for the doll, so I used a G hook for the cape. This allows the cape to be more flexible.

ch 21
1.-7.) 1 sc in each (20)
8.) inc on first and last st of row. (22)
9.-11.) 1 sc in each
12.) inc on first and last st of row (24)
13.) 1 sc in each
14.) inc on first and last st of row (26)
15.) 1 sc in each
16.) inc on first and last st of row (28)
17.-18.) 1 sc in each
19.) inc on first and last st of row (30)
20.-21.) 1 sc in each
22.) inc on first and last st of row (32)
23.-31.) 1 sc in each
32.) inc on first and last st of row (34)
33.-41.) 1 sc in each
42.) inc on first and last st of row (36)
43.-58.) 1 sc in each
59.) inc on first and last st of row
60.-63.) 1 sc in each
(optional) Don't fasten off. If you wanna make you cape edge look nicer, sc about 63 sts evenly across the long side of the cape. Fasten off and do the same for the other long side of the cape. The two short sides do not need it.

Use black felt or buttons for the black circles of Saitama's cape. Do not attach cape to Saitama until you have done the face.

While referencing a picture of Saitama's face, make yourself a pattern for the eyes and mouth. Trace the shapes of those from felt in correct colors. You can use paint for the pupils and outlines of the eyes and mouth if you wish. Sew of hot glue these parts on the front of the head. Always test placement of features before attaching to be sure you like the look.

Use embroidery thread to make the eyebrows and now. These can be done in completely straight lines. I made my tails from the embroidery thread come out the back of Saitama's neck, which will be covered with his cape. I hot glued the tails to his neck for security. Finish off yours however you prefer.

Sew ears to head. Top of ears should align with the eyes.

Attach cape. I used hot glue just in the corners of the cape. Refer to picture for cape placement.
